Earthsite Designs New Website for Mattole Restoration Council
The Mattole Restoration Council is one of North America’s oldest community-led watershed restoration organizations. Established in 1983, the Council’s primary mission is to understand, restore and conserve the ecosystems of the Mattole River watershed in Humboldt County, California, with attention to threatened coho and Chinook salmon and steelhead.
Earthsite’s founder, Joey Shepp, grew up in the Mattole River watershed so this project was near and dear to his heart. As a former resident with family still in the area, he was happy to help support The Mattole Restoration Council by building them a new website.
Earthsite was wonderful to work with. We knew that we needed to upgrade our website, but did not know where to begin. Joey and the Earthsite team helped us identify what we wanted, and built us exactly what we needed. Joey worked patiently with us during edits and revisions, and taught our staff how to maintain and make changes to the site. We liked working with Earthsite so much that we’ve referred them to many other businesses since then. We would definitely choose to work with them again!
