36,000 people attended the 2006 San Francisco Green Festival. Earthsite has been the Green Festival's trusted technology partner since 2003, leading web design, online operations and media coordination for this multi-city green commerce event. This year, we're proud to be an official partner of the Green Festival as it adds to its San Francisco and Washington, DC sites with its first event in Chicago, from April 21-22, 2007 (Earth Day weekend). If you've never been to a Green Festival, then you're missing out! The annual event features hundreds of vendors and prominent speakers, delicious organic food and beverages, and dozens of workshops - all with the goal of advancing a green economy based on sustainability and social justice. The project: Each year, the Green Festival expands in scope, attracting 60,000 attendees per year to the multi-city "parties with a purpose", where they explore the challenges and successes of building a green economy.
