Combining his interest in ecology, technology, and business Joey Shepp evolved his marketing consulting business into what is now Earthsite.  Started in 2003, Earthsite began as a web design company with a vision of creating a network of sustainable websites catering to Green businesses.  Our motto: We don't just create "web"sites we create "earth"sites.

Joey pursued an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise and received his degree in 2005 from the Dominican University of CA's Green MBA program.  There he not only expanded his network in the sustainability community, he also met his future wife, Stacie.  Combining their interests and talents Joey and Stacie worked on a plan for expanding Earthsite into a full service marketing agency.

Since that time Joey and Stacie have scaled the company up with the addition of staff, services, and the opening of the Earthsite Headquarters in Fairfax, CA in 2006.

In 2008, Earthsite became a New Media Agency for Sustainable Brands.  New Media entails several components ranging from marketing strategy, website design and development, to social media campaigns.  Today we offer a variety of services to meet a brands marketing objectives through online marketing tactics.

fairfax-square-earthsiteEarthsite's headquarters are located in Fairfax, CA, just 45 minutes from San Francisco. Why Fairfax? Fairfax is located in the heart of Marin County just over the Golden Gate Bridge, an area that caters to the outdoor enthusiast who likes to hike, bike and enjoy nature.

The location is a perfect spot for the Earthsite team, who balance their online lives with outdoor activities that feed their love for the natural world.

 
 
Commitment to Sustainability

hands_with_seedlingEarthsite is a certified Bay Area Green Business, a member of Green America and the Green Chamber of Commerce.  At our headquarters in Fairfax, CA we do everything we can to reduce our carbon footprint.

We are working on becoming a paperless office by sharing documents electronically and when we do print, we reuse scrap paper or print double sided. We purchase state of the art new technology and to reduce e-waste we always find a second home for electronics to keep them from ending up in the landfill.  Our website and many of our client's websites are carbon neutral hosted by Sustainable Hosting.  And we recycle and compost!

We encourage our team to commute either by walking, biking, public transit or carpooling.  When we aren't in the office we telecommute.
